The total cost will vary depending on the number of arbitrators, the number of parties involved, and the number and complexity of issues. Each arbitrator’s fee for meetings and hearings varies; a minimum of $1,500 per day for each arbitrator should be expected. Each arbitrator’s hourly fee applies to other activities such as in-take and administration; case review and preparation time; time to write the final award; and travel time. Other costs include meeting facilities, arbitrator travel and subsistence, and miscellaneous reimbursable expenses. Arbitration costs are split equally among the parties. |
